Wayne "Web" Weinreich

Wayne “Web” Weinreich Jr., 76, of Lavelle passed away at his home after a long battle with cancer Wednesday evening November 15th.

Born in Ashland on March 27, 1947 he was the son of the late Wanieta (Fetterolf) and Wayne W. Weinreich Sr.

Web attended Ashland High School.  He was a member of Christ EC Church in Lavelle.

He was the husband of Shirley A. (Zimmerman) Weinreich.

Web enjoyed hunting, building and painting. He also loved to cut grass.

Web was well known for working on the Butler Township Road Crew for 29 years. He was a kind loving person that touched the hearts of so many people and made them smile with his contagious and funny personality. He was loved by many and will be missed by many more. He had a strong faith.  He will now spend the rest of his eternal life by Jesus’ side free of cancer, pain, and finally will be at peace.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Sherry Martin and brother Paul Weinreich.

Web is survived by; his loving wife of 53 years Shirley A. Weinreich; son Kenneth Weinreich, Altoona; daughter Tracy Edmondson, Lavelle; brother Gary Weinreich (Connie), Lavelle; sister Sandy Marlow (Grant Jr.), Lavelle; sister Holly Bolich (Dale), Lavelle; sister in law Judy Weinreich, Valley View; brother in law Barry Martin, Aristes; grandson Cole Weinreich, Marine Camp Lajune NC; grandson Cory Weinreich, Ashland; grandson Caden Weinreich, Ashland; granddaughter Kayla Edmondson, Lavelle; many nieces & nephews.

Services and interment will be private at the family’s request.  Contributions can be made in Web’s memory to Lavelle Fire Company, 409 Main St, Lavelle PA 17943.
